traditionally accepted gender roles, but also blends genres and media to produce shows with originality and edgy social consciousness. Though “gender-bending” is at the heart of what Boys R Us is doing, it is not always the point of their performances. Entertainment is the main goal as they pull no punches and play no favorites, all with a smile and tongue-in-cheek sense of humor that anybody can appreciate.
